How to add a source in XPManga

The source directory refreshes when opened. Search by name or domain and filter by any available language; this page is not a fixed source catalogue.

Recommended method

  1. Open Manage sources

Open the source picker inside the app, open its menu, and choose “Manage sources.” The “Add source” screen opens and refreshes the official directory.

  2. Search the official directory first

Search by source name or domain and filter by any language available in the directory. Results change as integrations and languages are added; choose “Add” or “Open” for the source's current state.

  3. Use a manual URL only when needed

If the source is not listed, choose “Can’t find the source? Add a manual URL,” enter an HTTPS domain such as example.com, and select “Add.”

  4. Complete access confirmation if requested

Some sites may require “Confirm access.” Complete the steps shown by the site inside the verification window, then XPManga resumes its source checks.

  5. Open the source after validation

When “Source added successfully” appears, choose “Open source.” The app may instead report that the source already exists or that an existing source was enabled.

What does the app do before saving?

  • It accepts an HTTPS domain and constrains requests to the integration's allowed hosts.
  • It tests the catalogue, details, chapters, and pages before saving the source.
  • It may store source-scoped cookies encrypted on the device when a site requires access confirmation.
  • Adding a source does not mean XPManga hosts its content or guarantees the external site's availability.

Important safety boundaries

Do not add a domain you do not trust, and never send passwords, cookies, or session tokens in a support report. “Supported” describes the XPManga integration—not the external site's status, ownership, or content rights.
